Day 3 involved a 12 hour drive to Big Sky, MT. We stopped in Salt Lake City for a quick and a really cheap lunch (and ant had to poop, which is kind of a big deal). I’m not even kidding you. Are you ready to hear what I had? A salad with TWO veggie rolls..eight pieces each..for $5.00. WOW. Ant had soup and two fish rolls for $6.00. WTG, lunch.
Montana is beautiful – well at least the lower western corner of it – there’s apparently many hundreds of miles north and east that we didn’t see so I assume it’s all beautiful. We stayed at Bucks T-4 in Big Sky. It was clean and quiet. Their restaurant was SO good. We ate there all 3 nights (mostly because Ant was tired of driving.) But they used quality ingredients that were mostly sourced locally and it was decently priced for such good food.
